Andy's cousin has a wonderful blog to help us remember Etiquette. I want to teach my kids how to have etiquette skills. We just had Etta's birthday and she has a great time writing "thank you" cards to all her friends.
Thanks Lori!

Thank you Letters
You should write a thank you note - even a short one and informal every time you are:
Sent Flowers
Asked to lunch or dinner
Asked to a concert, opera, movie or theater
Invited for a weekend
Given a present
Or the recipient of a favor - such as writing a letter to get your son into a University, refers a client to you or serves as a matchmaker.

The Next Foodnetwork Star
No, I am by far Not the Next Foodnetwork Star. However Andy and I watched every episode this last time around and from the first show we like Melissa.
Her new show is great "Ten dollar Dinners with Melissa d'Arabian". We were all impressed and the food looked great.Andy and Etta went right after the show and made the Applesauce Granita with Maple Yogurt, which was great and the kids loved it.
Tuesday, I surprise Andy with, her first meal she made, Potato-Bacon Torte and the Cafe Green Salad. When I pulled it out of the oven his face was amazing and he kept saying "No you didn't, no you didn't"
He loved it! Thanks Foodnetwork!

Bye Truck, Hello Volvo
This last week we sold our Truck. We have had it listed on KSL for about 2 months and not trying really hard to sell it.
On Friday June 26th a young man called and asked if he could come test drive the truck. Great, he came Saturday while I was having Gibson's birthday party.
Then on Monday he called and gave us an offer. Andy and I looked at each other and said "Sweet". It took us one evening to find a few cars we liked and one that I loved.
One week later after the 4th of July weekend. We dropped off the truck to the young man and picked up my 1998 Volvo V70 Wagon! I absolutely love it. Only thing it is missing is tint and that will be done soon.

A shout out to an amazing Father
I know this is a few days late, but I wanted to tell my husband Andy what an amazing father he is. He works so hard for all of us so we can enjoy activities, treats and fun surprises. He teaches our kids by example in hard work, love and fun. He helps them learn how to do everything they try to do and enjoys being with them.
Even though you love your chickens I know you love your kids the most. Thank you for being the wonderful father you are to our children.
Teaching them camping,
playing with them,
and just being with them!

New Camera
I have had my Canon PowerShot SD550 Digital ELPH 7.1 Megapixel for at least 4 years and I loved it. I have dropped it so many times, taken a great number of pictures from it and used it well.
For my birthday this year Andy decieded to get me a new camera. He found a Polaroid Digital Camera 10MP BLACK i1035 3x OptZoom for about $50 bucks on Woot, a screaming deal. I have been using it for the last 3 months and it just doesn't touch the quality and user friendly that the Canon did.
What do you do? Well I put them both on eBay. They were my first real auctions I have ever placed on eBay and they exceeded my expectations.
Canon PowerShot SD550 Digital ELPH 7.1 Megapixel Sold for $105
Polaroid Digital Camera 10MP BLACK i1035 3x OptZoom Sold for $46
Sweet! Of course with eBay fees and such I ended up with about $130 but I am still really happy.
Today I picked up my new camera. A Canon PowerShot SD790 IS digital elph 10.0 Mega Pixel!
I am so excited to use it!
